Prayer for Today

We come to you God, acknowledging Your awesome creativity and power in the universe. You have given us our very life. And You abide in our very souls. You have created us in Your image; with freedom to make daily choices. Guide us, we ask, so that our decisions will spring forth from the wisdom that comes from meditating upon Your purpose for our lives. 

Abide with us and give us strength to confront the challenges that face us. Some suffer from anxiety about jobs and money; others have concerns about health; yet others worry about family and relationships. 

Grant us Your peace this week, knowing that Your love flows to each one who is faithful to You. That forgiving love sustains us and gives us courage to face all of our trials. For Your presence in our lives we give thanks.
